CHARLES YURI

Charles Yuri is a talented singer, vocal coach, choral conductor and pianist accompanist, with a rich trajectory in academic training and professional experience. He began his journey studying technical teaching at CEFAM in Franco da Rocha, and later completed a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education at the University of São Paulo.

His musical training is extensive and diverse. Charles studied clarinet at the Municipal School of Music of the State of São Paulo and choral conducting at EMESP. He also specialized in Contemporary Belting at Studio Marconi Araújo and took private singing lessons with renowned teachers such as Carla Mendes, Renata Sampaio, Leandro Lacava and Maestro Marconi Araújo. To further hone his skills, he studied Vocal Performance at New York University. Charles is currently studying a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis on Conducting at the University of São Paulo.

HIGHLIGTHS

PROFESSIONAL TRAJECTORY

In his professional career, Charles worked in several institutions and musical projects. He was a teacher of theoretical subjects and clarinet at the Orquestra Filarmônica Jovem de Caieiras, where he also worked as a clarinetist. In the Fábricas de Cultura program (Sapopemba unit), he worked as a teacher of choral singing, children's musicalization and musical director. Furthermore, he was musical director and music teacher at ATEAL Jundiaí.

CONTEMPORARY BELTING

As a singer, Charles participated in the São Paulo State Youth Choir, the Ensemble Studio Marconi Araújo and the Comunicantus Chamber Choir. He also took on the role of musical director at CIA Opsis de Teatro and Thymeli Música Teatro e Dança. His collaboration with Maestro Marconi Araújo includes roles as musical assistant and assistant musical director.
