SAULO VASCONCELOS

Saulo Vasconcelos is a Brazilian actor, singer and voice actor, considered one of the main references of Musical Theater in Brazil. Born in Brasília, he debuted in Puccini's opera “Madame Butterfly”. In 1999, he began his professional career as the protagonist of “The Phantom of the Opera” in Mexico City. Two years later, he played Inspector Javert in the musical “Les Misérables” in São Paulo, and, in 2002, he played the Beast in “Beauty and the Beast” at Teatro Abril. In addition to his work in musicals, Saulo has played important roles in operas such as Figaro in “The Barber of Seville”, Don Giovanni in Mozart's opera of the same name, and Gianni Schicchi in Puccini's opera.

Between 2005 and 2007, he returned to the role of the Phantom in “The Phantom of the Opera” in São Paulo. In 2008, he acted as Zoser in the Brazilian version of the musical “Aida” by Elton John and Tim Rice. His career also includes social projects and recording soundtracks for theater and films.
